Went to the opening ceremony of “Rediscovering Thai Masters of Photography”  at Bangkok University Gallery on Saturday. A great occasion to discover masterpieces of thai photography collected by Manit Sriwanichpoon, photographer known for his Pink series and his gallery “Kathmandou” (Pan Road) . This project called “Seeking forgotten thai photographers” began in 2010 as he was looking for thai photography as a support to teach students.   I have specially enjoyed the series of Rong Wong-Savun (1932-2009) about Memorial Bridge and Din Daeng dump site. The exhibition in going on until October 3rd. If you like W&B photography, don’t miss it ! More information and location here.
